Platform
Kate Leigh, Simon Betterton, Karen Ludlow and Patricia Reilly
Beginning to High-Intermediate

Platform is a multi-level English course for adults and young adults. It is the result of four years of advanced research in ELT methodology and employs the best of modern-day techniques and methodology in language learning.

Platform caters to the needs of today’s changing classroom, making real, everyday English accessible to all, right from day one. The series is learner-centered, beginning with what students know, and building upon this to give them the skills, knowledge, and confidence necessary to deal with the intricacies of language both inside and outside of classroom.

The series provides solid student support, a great variety of tasks, and a lot of appropriate practice. It includes many opportunities for assessment and all the tools students require to maximize learner autonomy.

The activities will encourage pair-work and group-work.
