The stories act as a springboard for learning English through four types of
activities:
1) How well did you understand? – Comprehension questions check students’
understanding.
2) Think about it. – A variety of exercises encourage students to think about how
English is used in context.
3) Learn about it. – Students practice rhetorical skills and word formation, review
grammar, and gain insight into collocation.
4) Do it. – These activities invite students to share opinions and experiences.
