Grammar Plus is a companion to Reading Plus, a widely recognized reading program. It aims to reinforce students’ fundamental grammar skills:

1. Grammar: emphasis on parts of speech and sentence structure
2. Usage: focus on the correct use of words and word choice
3. Mechanics: rules for capitalization and punctuation

Each section consists of three parts:
1. Rule Boxes
2. Models: illustrate the language point being discussed in each rule box.
3. Multiple-Choice Exercises: provide practice of the rules.

In addition, there are ten Language Activity Pages in each book. They provide opportunities to review key terms, practice to master the key concepts, and activities to elaborate the skills.
