The McGraw-Hill Education (Asia) editorial team,
with over 42 combined years of experience in the higher education
industry in Asia, is one of the most experienced higher educational
publishers in Asia. Our editorial operations and focus on publishing
excellence are strongly supported by our local and regional sales
and marketing colleagues and management.
The primary function of our Acquisitions Editors
is to find and sign book proposals that fit our goals. They are
also responsible for:
- Working closely with authors to produce
quality books that serve the needs of academics and students.
This involves providing guidelines and suggestions to the authors
for development of content and ancillary materials.
- Preparing strategies for each publishing
project, including the publishing production schedules, product
development plans and marketing ideas.
- Analyzing reviews and providing directions
to authors on revisions of draft manuscripts.
- Monitoring authors writing schedule.
- Initiating permissions clearance exercise
when necessary.
